Careers · Small team, long horizon

Build the layer
that remembers.

We hire slowly. We stay small. If you like shipping thoughtful, quiet software with hospitality-quality craft — this is the place. Every role reports to a real problem, not a headcount plan.

Four steps.
No surprises.

01

Intro conversation

Thirty minutes, no whiteboard. Tell us what you're working on and what you'd like to be working on. We tell you what we're actually building.

02

Craft session

A real problem, on your time. No timers, no trick questions. Two hours to look at something we're stuck on and share how you'd approach it.

03

Team day

Half a day with the people you'd work with. A meal, a walk-through of the product, a real conversation about the hard parts.

04

Offer & references

We move quickly. We share the offer, the numbers, and the reasoning together. We do our references at the same time you do yours on us.

The basics.
Done properly.

01

Meaningful equity.

Every hire is an owner. Standard four-year vest, one-year cliff, and 10-year exercise window.

02

Real health coverage.

Medical, dental, vision — 100% for you, 80% for dependents. Mental health included.

03

Time actually off.

Five weeks. A minimum, not a ceiling. We close the whole company for a week in December.

04

Home office stipend.

$3,500 for setup, refreshed every two years. Your chair matters.

05

Parental leave.

Sixteen weeks, fully paid, all parents. Return part-time for as long as you need.

06

Learning budget.

$2,000 a year, no forms. Books, courses, conferences, mentorship. Whatever keeps you sharp.

Don't see your role?

If you love hospitality-quality software and think we should be talking, we probably should.
